Ergonomics Meets Digital Prototyping

At the Meraki Competition, I competed in the 3D Design track, focusing on physical product design rather than web software. My entry, Spark Desk, was a conceptual smart workstation engineered for modern student productivity.

Using Blender, I built a detailed 3D model incorporating modular hardware slots, built-in digital learning interfaces, and ergonomic adjustments.

Product Modeling Workflow

  1. Wireframing & Geometry: Modeled exact physical proportions to ensure proper monitor eye levels and wrist support angles.
  2. Material Texturing: Applied realistic surface shaders to balance sleek workspace aesthetics with durable material choices.
  3. Integrated Hardware: Designed subtle cable routing paths, modular attachment docks, and embedded digital display panels.
